Building a new museum together

Muzeon is expanding! Alongside the Jewish Community of Cluj, we are transforming the Community’s historic headquarters on Tipografiei Street into a modern, living, and interactive museum.

5 years ago, we opened Muzeon by transforming an empty cellar – without electricity, heating, doors, or any kind of furnishing – into a modern and successful museum.

This year, we entered into a partnership with the Jewish Community of Cluj, and we have the opportunity to take an important step forward. We aim to transform Muzeon into a true cultural institution by moving to a new location on Tipografiei Street – the former headquarters of the Community – and expanding our content with new spaces for exhibitions and educational activities.

Without our immediate intervention, the building is deteriorating day by day, and given today’s prices for construction materials and labor, we can only renovate it with your help.
